What TrueRoof HQ does

• Re-checks roofers over time and removes any who stop meeting the standard

What TrueRoof HQ does not do

• We are not a roofing contractor. We do not perform roofing work or issue estimates.
• We do not guarantee that any specific roofer will take your job or match your budget.
• We do not sell your information to advertisers.
• We do not share your information with roofers you didn't request to be matched with.

Our vetting standard

This is the substance behind the word "vetted." Before a roofer joins our roster, we check:

• License verification — we confirm active contractor licensing for the roofer's state and locale.
• Insurance verification — we confirm current general liability, and workers' comp where applicable.
• Track record check — years in business, reviews and ratings, and complaint history, reviewed before they join the list.
• Basic agreement — roofers agree to our standards and referral terms up front.

Ongoing, we periodically re-verify roofers and give homeowners a simple way to report a bad experience, with removal for roofers who don't hold the standard. This is what lets us say "vetted" without stretching the truth.

How we make money

TrueRoof HQ helps homeowners find trustworthy local roofers. We independently verify that the roofers we recommend are licensed and insured and have a solid track record. Our service is free to you — we're paid by the roofing companies we refer you to. That never affects the price you're quoted, and we only recommend roofers we'd feel good sending a neighbor to.
