Everything on trueroofhq.com — including articles, guides, tools, and roofer recommendations — is for informational purposes to help you find a roofer. It is not a substitute for your own judgment or for a licensed contractor's on-site evaluation of your roof.
Not a roofing contractor
TrueRoof HQ is an independent service, not a roofing contractor. We do not perform roofing work, inspect roofs ourselves, or issue estimates. Using the site does not create a contractor-client relationship between you and TrueRoof HQ.
No contractor-client relationship
If you request a roofer match, an independent, licensed roofing contractor may follow up with you. Any work agreement, estimate, or contract is between you and that roofer. TrueRoof HQ is not party to the roofing work performed.
No guarantee of match or outcome
TrueRoof HQ cannot and does not guarantee that any particular roofer will be available, will accept your job, or will deliver a specific outcome. Each roofer makes their own decisions about which jobs to take and how to price them.
Third-party roofer independence
Roofers on our roster are independent businesses. They make their own hiring, scheduling, and pricing decisions, and operate under their own contractor licenses and insurance. We do not control their work or supervise their crews.
Referral compensation
TrueRoof HQ may receive a referral fee from roofers when we connect them with a homeowner. This relationship is disclosed throughout the site and does not change our vetting standard or which roofers we're willing to recommend. You never pay TrueRoof HQ anything.
User responsibility
- You must be 18 or older to use the site or services.
- You agree to provide accurate information when you fill out forms.
- You agree not to misuse the site (no scraping, hacking, attempting to disrupt service, or impersonating others).
- You are responsible for your own due diligence and agreements when hiring any roofer.
Intellectual property
TrueRoof HQ content — text, design, and brand — is owned by TrueRoof HQ or licensed by it. You may share links and small quotes with attribution. Republishing without permission is not allowed.
Limitation of liability
TrueRoof HQ provides the site "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueRoof HQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, any roofer recommendation, or any roofing work performed by a third-party roofer.
TrueRoof HQ SMS Program — Mobile Terms
Program name: TrueRoof HQ SMS Program.
Program description: By opting in, you agree to receive recurring email and text messages from TrueRoof HQ. Messages may include roofer-matching updates, account or service notifications (such as appointment reminders), and marketing offers related to roofing services, promotions, and partner offers. Messages may be sent using an auto dialer or contain prerecorded content.
Message frequency: Up to 6 messages per month per program (marketing and service). Frequency may vary.
Costs: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier and plan.
HELP and STOP: Reply HELP to any TrueRoof HQ text message for help. Reply STOP to any TrueRoof HQ text message to opt out at any time. After replying STOP you will receive a confirmation message and no further texts from that program. To opt back in, sign up again at /get-matched/ or contact support@trueroofhq.com.
Consent not required to purchase or use: Consent to receive marketing or service text messages is not a condition of purchase or of using any TrueRoof HQ service.
Do Not Call: Your opt-in authorizes TrueRoof HQ and participating roofers to contact you at the number you provide and overrides prior registrations on Federal or State Do Not Call lists.
Carrier disclaimer: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and their respective subsidiaries.
Phone numbers are not sold or shared: TrueRoof HQ does not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers you provide for roofer matching are shared only with the vetted roofers you explicitly request.
Privacy: Use of the TrueRoof HQ SMS program is governed by the Privacy Policy. Eligible age: 18+. Available in the United States.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
